Thank You Merci Canada!

Well Canada, it's that time of year again!

After months and months of teasing, Spring has finally springed across most of the Dominion. Sure it's still freezing up North, but soon the temperatures will begin to crack, and everyone will pack their Long Johns Away for another summer.

All this means that the Long John Index will be closing for the spring and or summery months! This doesn't mean that you will not hear from us! We will keep a watchful eye on the weather and should Winter rear it's frosty head, we will be sure to tell you if you need Long Johns! Heck, last year we closed around Mid Late March, but issued Long John Index's in April! So we won't be going anywhere, we'll just be very quiet for a couple months ( or at least we should hope so.)

Despite it being a fairly mild winter across the country, it was a HUGE Winter for the Long John Index. We tripled our Facebook and Twitter Friends. We got to interview people stationed at CFB Alert. And WE were featured on radio stations in Calgary, Edmonton, Grande Prairie, Toronto, Montreal and Fredericton, and Newspapers in Sudbury and Manitoulin Island. What Fantastic Winter! We can't imagine what it would have been like if it were cold!

So before we wish you all a happy 'Non Wintery Season' we want to say 'Thank You Merci' for the wonderful Wnter. It was a blast, and we look forward to doing it again in a couple months!

Wishing you a happy Non Wintery Season,

The Staff and Lowly Interns,

The Long John Index Service of Canada

Where did all this light come from? Spring creaps across the Dominion, making people pull their morning blinds and saving on their electricity! With extra daylight, comes higher temperatures, and we see those across Canada! Only Fort McMurray, Saskatoon, Thunder (Danger) Bay, Regina and Winnipeg will have daytime Long John Indexe's south of 60 today! Heck there will be Rain across much of Ontario and Quebec! Still cold up north, though the cold looks like it will break in Yellowknife, though just a tad!
