The Long John Index Service of Canada

Keeping Canadians Warm and Entertained since Mid to late October

ABOUT THE LONG JOHN INDEX

(Spoilers!)

The Long John Index is a comedy-weather blog, created, written, designed and illustrated by Colin MacIntyre. Since 2011, “The Long John Index Service of Canada”, a fictitious department of the Canadian Government ( created and funded by various accounting errors)  issues a Long John Index rating, along with a weather map every weekday for 30+ cities across Canada.

While the Long John Index ratings are not designed to be overly scientific, nor are they recognized by any governing body, they are based on weather data gathered from reputable sources, including Environment Canada, The Weather Channel and MSN Weather.
