It's our 1 year online anniversary today, and to Celebrate, the Dominion plunges into a deep freeze, and everyone gets a Long John Index of 5! HAH. Actually no thats not happening, but there may be some sort of cake, provided we are able to get the Polar Bears out of the Lunch Room.

Anyway, its not super cold in Canada, but it is Chilly! Sunny and Cold out west, cloudy and chilly in Ontario, and then Rainy in the Maritimes. Still waiting for that first big Cold Snap though. Waiting ever so patiently. Best to do it now than in April we say!

It was exactly 1 Year ago TODAY, that the Long John Index Service of Canada appeared on the Internets!! While we didn't start posting, Tweeting and Facebookishing regularly until January 3rd, 2011, the first post appeared Dec 7, 2010 and read:

"Your Long John Index for Edmonton, Alberta Canada is 3, or "High." Which is alot. Wear your Long Johns."

BAHAHAH. Hilarious! Anyway, to Celebrate, we thought we'd post this interview that Chief Intern Colin MacIntyre did in June with Jeff Samsonow of 'The Edmontonian.' It's the first Video interview we've ever done, PLUS has some behind the scenes looks at the operation. As an added bonus, Both Colin and Jeff, did the interview whilst wearing Long Johns.

Thank you to everyone who has made the first year online for the Long John Index Service such a crazy one! We can't wait to see what year two will bring! Mitten High Fives all around!

Sincerely, the Staff and Lowly Interns,

Long John Index Service of Canada
